Net Manager Resigns
1. On 7 March 2012 N7RBO announced that she is resigning from
the position of Net Manager/Secretary effective immediately. The
reason given is due to health issues. A replacement has been selected
and approved by the Board. New Net Manager is KG7UY-Dennis.
We wish Karen all the best in her new challenge. Hurry back, Karen.
2. New Board Chairman
It is my privilege to announce that Larry Ballard, W7WX has been elected
to Chair the OEN board of Directors. Larry was the only nominee and was
affirmed unanimously by the Board. He will assume his duties on April 15th 2012.
James Boyd, K7MKN, is vacating the Chair on April 15th 2012, citing a heavy
business schedule this year. He will retain his seat on the OEN Board, just not as
the Chairman.
